What we're building
AWENI is one app, twelve doors. Behind each door is a part of life that usually demands its own app: a calendar, a memory companion, a budget tracker, a marketplace, a journal, a games hub, a calm assistant. We've put them under one roof and one mental model — so a parent, a teenager, and a grandparent can all use it without learning twelve different products.
We're a small team building for the long run. The products are designed to be useful, not addictive. We win when you close the app and live.
How we build
🛡️
Family-safe by default
Nothing in AWENI promotes gambling, violence, gossip, or the bottomless feeds that strip-mine attention. The default is calm; the surprise is delight, not dopamine.
✦
Ethical by default. Not by checkbox.
Tools we'd hand to our own kids. If we can't cite it, we don't print it — every claim, every quote, every figure traces to a named source. AI helps us search; humans pick the words.
📱
Mobile-first, accessible
WCAG 2.1 AA. Five languages: English, French, Arabic, Spanish, German. The Arabic right-to-left layout is a first-class citizen, not a retrofit.
🔒
You own your data
Every cent we spend on hosting goes into infrastructure that keeps your information on servers we control. No third-party ad networks, no behaviour brokers, no resold profiles.
📦
Open where it matters
Pieces other developers can reuse — the shared SDK, the games engine, the content-attribution schema — released under a permissive license once they reach maturity. The product itself stays focused.
🌱
Steady pace, small team
One founder, no investors, no roadmap leaked to keep us hostage to it. We ship carefully, fix what breaks, and listen to the people who actually use what we make.
Two friendly faces, only when they help.
You'll meet FoXplorr — a curious orange fox who explores ideas alongside you — and ProfessOwl — a wise purple owl who teaches with patience. They appear at moments where a friendly nudge or a small celebration matters: a streak earned, a card mastered, a level cleared. They never interrupt you for engagement's sake.
